We currently have a fleet consisting of two types of drone. Both aircraft have their specific advantages, allowing us to adapt our offering depending on the complexity of the job as per the latest regulations.
DJI Mavic Mini
The Mavic Mini is a great little tool. The aircraft only weighs 249g, which makes it a very flexible drone when it comes to the latest regulations.
We often use this type of drone for tighter spaces, such a aerial imagery within more populated areas where we are unable to use larger drones due to the proximity to other buildings and people.
DJI Mini 3 Pro
Our latest edition to the fleet and DJI’s latest model. This drone is a game-changer. Coming in at under 250g, this drone can be flown closer to people and structures safely.
It has a substantially improved camera from the Mini, with a larger sensor, video footage capture up to 4K and images up to 48MP, this drone gets many outings for Shone’s Drones.
DJI Mavic 2 Pro
This is our flagship drone. Weighing 907g, so over three times the eight of our mini version. This drone comes with all the bells and whistles which allows us to capture extraordinary footage.
This is a very agile drone which is cable of carrying out a huge range of projects and we often use it for larger projects where proximity of buildings and people are not an issue. The Mavic Pro 2 can also handle stronger wind conditions meaning we have more flexibility and can use this as an alternative to our Mini drone.
